Description
CELIA Dark is a bohemian style craft Czech lager with the benefit of being gluten-free. Winner of a gold beer award, CELIA is the first beer in the world to be gluten-free and naturally carbonated to create a lighter experience.
Densely black with an almost ruby red hue CELIA Dark has a distinctive coffee like aroma with slightly nutty and rye bread undertones. Made with local toffee Bavarian malt and flavoured with bitter Saaz hops, CELIA Dark is thick and chewy on the palate with a big toasted malt character.
Traditionally batch brewed for 10 weeks CELIA is open fermented for 14 days to ensure only natural carbonation is needed and then we use our patented de-glutenisation technique to remove the gluten without impacting the taste.
