At the TFWA World Exhibition and Conference in Cannes, France – which will take place from 29 September to 4 October – Ian Macleod Distillers will launch Edinburgh Gin Lemon and Jasmine, Edinburgh Gin Raspberry, Smokehead Rum Riot single malt Scotch whisky and relaunch London Hill Gin.

William Ovens, Ian Macleod’s global travel retail director, said: “Over the past year we have made great strides in our GTR business, developing our relationships and footprint globally.

“We have launched several new expressions, many of which are exclusive to GTR. In addition, our team has grown, allowing us to place more focus on expanding international distribution.”

Edinburgh Gin Lemon and Jasmine has been bottled at 40% ABV and will be available for RRP €32.90 (US$36) per one-liter bottle. It was distilled with fresh lemon peels and jasmine flowers.

Edinburgh Gin Raspberry has also been bottled at 40% ABV and priced at €32.90 per one-liter bottle. It has been made with five “traditional” botanicals, as well as Scottish raspberries and raspberry leaves.

Ian Macleod Distillers will also launch a Smokehead Rum Riot in global travel retail. For this particular expression, the producer finished the Islay single malt whisky in Caribbean rum casks.

Bottled at 43% ABV and priced at RRP €49 (US$54), the whisky is said to have flavours of citrus, banana, pear drops and hints of honey.

Lastly, “revamped” London Hill Gin will be reintroduced into travel retail complete with a new bottle design and a pink iteration.

London Hill Gin has an ABV of 43% and will cost €17.90 (US$20) per one-litre bottle. London Hill Pink Gin also has an ABV of 43% and is described as tasting like “fresh strawberries”. It will cost RRP €19.90 (US$22).

“London Hill Gin is a fantastic-tasting, yet affordable, gin, which has been part of our brand family for several years, selling a significant volume in Europe travel retail. But, until now, we have never really given it the focus it deserves,” Ovens added.
