Coca-Cola Amatil has signed a five-year deal with tech giant IBM for the creation of a so-called private cloud computing environment, to enable it to automate its core technology operations across Australia and the Asia-Pacific region. The deal marks a major change to the way CCA manages its core systems, as it looks to bring its significant Indonesian operations on to the same footing as Australia. (Financial Review)
