Mayflower Brewing Company, America’s Hometown brewery, is pleased to announce the release of a new year-round beer called “New World IPA” starting this week. New World IPA is an unfiltered American IPA that will be available in kegs and 6-pack cans.

“New World IPA is our latest take on the highly-popular IPA craft beer style, ” says Drew Brosseau, founder and President. “It strengthens and complements our existing lineup of year-round IPAs that includes our original English IPA, a session IPA called Daily Ration, and a double IPA called EvoLupulin.”

Mayflower engaged directly with consumers as part of its recipe formulation process. The company released several test batches between January and May under the name “Hoppy Prototype,” and used customer feedback to make slight adjustments to the beer. “The beer has been a big hit in our tasting room, and we’re excited to get it out into the market”, said Brosseau.

With the introduction of New World IPA, the company will now produce six beers on a year-round basis, along with four seasonal releases and a number of small-batch beers throughout the year. All of these beers are now featured in the Mayflower’s newly expanded and renovated tasting room in Plymouth, MA.

“We use pale barley and wheat grains to create a light and soft malt backbone ”, says Ryan Gwozdz, Head Brewer. “And we combine that with a blend of four resinous hop varieties from the Pacific Northwest and a clean American ale yeast to produce bold fruit flavors and aromas with mild bitterness.”

The company is launching the beer this week in their tasting room, to customers in eastern Massachusetts, and will extend its deliveries to the rest of its distribution territories throughout New England in the coming weeks as production ramps up.
