House of vintage cognacs Tavria - one of the oldest brandy companies in Eastern Europe. The history of cognac "Tavria" begins with the first settlement of Swiss colonists in the same place where today is the company located - in New Kakhovka on the same parallel with the world famous city of Cognac, France. Own raw material base is 1300 hectares of vineyards. In these areas grow more than 30 varieties of grapes. The territory of the company is located in an area of southern Ukrainian steppes. These sandy, warm and lightweight lands in its bosom full of nutrients and a wide variety of natural trace elements. Therefore, the vine, grown on these soils, provides enough flavored grapes from which Tavrian masters prepare high-quality drinks - a noble cognac and light, fragrant lively wines. The vineyards are located in the unique favorable climate for wine-making area, neighboring to a nature reserve "Askania Nova", one of the "Seven Natural Wonders of the World." The volume of production of vintage and ordinary cognacs today is - 692 455 decaliters a year. From 1970 to 2015, production of House of vintage cognacs "Tavria" got at international tasting competitions and exhibitions, 112 gold, 94 silver, 38 bronze medals, five special awards and nine awards Grand Prix.
