The National Homebrew Competition 2017

The National Homebrew Competition (NHC), an AHA/BJCP sanctioned competition, is the world’s largest international beer competition recognizing the most outstanding homebrewed beer, mead, and cider produced by amateur brewers worldwide.

In 1979, 34 entries competed in the first American Homebrewers Association (AHA) National Homebrew Competition held in Boulder, Colorado.

Today, the National Homebrew Competition (NHC) has become the largest homebrew competition in the world. The goal is simple: to celebrate the spirit of homebrewers. The competition gives home brewers a chance to receive invaluable feedback on their entries and also recognizes the most outstanding, world-class homebrewed beer, mead, and cider. Final round winners are revealed at Homebrew Con.

Over the years, they have seen home brewers push the envelope and blur the lines between professional and amateur brewing. As home brewers, you lead the way with style awareness and ingenuity, all while pushing home brewing into uncharted territory.

After a First Round judging center has evaluated all homebrew entries in their competition, the results must be verified prior to posting on HomebrewersAssociation.org. Results from individual judging centers will be posted as results are verified.

Drink Pink Vino International Rosé Wine Competition 2017

Calling all Rosé Wine producers! Submit your entries in one of the world’s only professional double-blind wine competitions dedicated to all styles of rosé wine. Judges consist of Colorado’s top sommeliers, master sommeliers, and wine critics. Medals are awarded based on scores obtained. Drinking wines that are delicious, versatile, and most important – bring a sense of joie de vivre to any occasion. Drink Pink Vino International Rosé Wine is the epitome of those values – join the movement!

That’s because rosé consumption in the United States has quite literally skyrocketed in recent years, up nearly 40% in 2013. If that impressive statistic wasn’t noteworthy enough, consider that precipitous incline as compared to your total wine consumption, which grew by just slightly more than a measly one percent during the same timeframe.

Speaking of prices, that brings them to one of your very favorite things about rosé – its remarkable affordability. For your everyday pinks, there’s not a reason in the world to spend more than $20 a bottle. You’ll find plenty of inexpensive, extraordinarily quaffable options choose from – particularly from Côtes de Provence, where some of the best pink wines in the world are made. Don’t limit yourself to French varieties only – rosé of Vinho Verde from Portugal, Tempranillo Rosado from Italy, and brace yourself – completely reimagined white zinfandel from California’s Central Coast deliver equal parts high quality and value.

Venue: Omni Interlocken Resort, Broomfield, CO
