Born in the state of Durango, Mexico and nurtured by tradition and legacy of more than 800 years, this is the best Sotol time and land can give us.

Traditionally distilled in select small batches, we carefully hand pick the best aged agaves. Sotol Salvaje is the perfect, crystal clear Sotol, for those who demand the best of the best. Sotol Salvaje is hand-crafted from wild agave plants in the wild desert region of Durango, México. Our Sotol plants take 8 – 12 years to mature and because of it growing wild, it is never  fertilized or sprayed with any chemicals. So you are tasting pure, wild, organic Sotol.

Wild Harvest: The Sotol plant takes approximately 8 to 15 years to mature and yields only one bottle of sotol per plant approximately. It typically grows on rocky slopes in the Duranguan desert grassland between 3,000 and 6,500 feet above sea level.

Flavor: The palate is clean, tasty and refreshing with hints of lemon and pepper. It develops notes of spices and alcohol, leaves a sliding and balanced sensation. This delicious spirit of northern Mexico, is becoming known among the most demanding palates.

Color & Aroma: Sotol Salvaje Blanco presents a crystalline color. Fresh aromas to the nose typical of agave, shades of lemon and white flowers. After a minute the aroma evolves into sweet earthy notes, citrus, vanilla and marzipan.

Master Distiller: From pit covered cooking to wild yeast fermentation and traditional distillation, our Master Distiller, Alfredo Conde – a third generation sotoler – ensures that the entire process is hand crafted to perfection in both tradition and quality standards.

Our process: At maturation, the ancient hand-crafted process begins. From pit covered cooking to wild yeast fermentation and traditional distillation, we create our Sotol with the same techniques the Duranguan indigenous, Rarámuris and Anasazis fermented sotol as early as 800 years ago. Our distillation process honors the region’s ancestors. By hand crafting our spirits; we give back to our legacy, heritage and our community.
