This international wine competition will be held at the 3 West Club in the heart of New York City, across from Rockefeller Center.

After the success of running the first annual New York International Spirits Competition in November 2010, vintners from around the world asked us to replicate this successful competition with wine. We were excited by the over 700 wine submissions we received in our first year in 2011, and we have more than doubled our size then. 

New York City is many things for different people.  One of its great attributes, besides being a food and travel destination, is that it is a talent-rich city with many nationally and internationally recognized wine professionals living and working here. It is also a media capital, and New York International Spirits Competition work closely with our media sponsors to share results on the local, national and international level.

The judging will be conducted by panels of a minimum of four qualified trade buyers.Trade-only judging panelists work with wine and their customers on a daily basis. They are a mix of restauranteurs, sommeliers, retail wine buyers, distributors and importers. New York International Spirits Competition  assemble each judging panel with a mix of different disciplines so multiple viewpoints will be considered in the evaluation of the wines.
