Wine & Spirits Magazine "Top Wines of the Year", Dec. 2018 edition.  93 Points.   The​ ​20123 ​TRIO​ ​Red​ ​Wine​ ​is​ ​an​ ​Estate​ ​Grown​ ​blend​ ​of​ ​the​ ​three​ ​varieties​ ​we​ ​grow; Cabernet​ ​Sauvignon,​ ​Merlot,​ ​and​ ​Cabernet​ ​Franc.​ ​​​We​ ​created​ ​this​ ​blend​ ​to have​ ​a​ ​wine​ ​that​ ​is​ ​a​ ​little​ ​sooner​ ​than​ ​our​ ​Howell​ ​Mountain​ ​Varietals,​ ​but​ ​still have​ ​complexity​ ​and​ ​substance.

The 2013 TRIO has a bright nose of berries and plums with hints of crushed herbs, and wild mushrooms. This full-bodied red blend has a big palate of summer berries and rich cassis, with hints of ​garrigue​ - wild thyme and dried lavendar. A family and friend-owned boutique winery on historic Howell Mountain, the 1st recognized sub-AVA in the Napa wine growing region. We specialize in estate-grown Bordeaux varietals and subtle, low-intervention winemaking. In 2007, we were honored to be one of Wine & Spirits Magazines's "Boutique Winery of the Year", and our current releases are 2017s all have 90 points and aboveWe produce small lots of Estate-grown Cab, Merlot, Cab Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and a Rosé of Merlot.
