Seghesio Family Vineyards is pleased to announce the release of its inaugural vintage of a new Sonoma Chardonnay (SRP $22).  The release expands the winery’s portfolio of benchmark Zinfandel and Italian varietals crafted from exceptional estate-owned and farmed vineyards across Sonoma County.  The Chardonnay is sourced from carefully selected vineyards in some of the region’s cooler climates and blended with a small portion of Vermentino from Seghesio’s estate Keyhole Ranch Vineyard in the Russian River Valley.

“Our goal in crafting the first vintage was to extend our style of Zinfandel to a Chardonnay,” said Andy Robinson, winemaker at Seghesio Family Vineyards. “When we do our job well, all of the elements of the wine complement one another and the wine thrives on its fruit quality and balance. We believe we have achieved this profile with our Sonoma Chardonnay and that this wine is a great complement to our Sonoma Zinfandel.”
