Scheid Family Wines Announces New Certified Sustainable Designation and Label for 2018 Vintage Release of District 7 Brand

Scheid Family Wines of Monterey County, California is proud to announce the release of the 2018 vintage of their District 7 brand, along with a new and more consumer-friendly design that highlights a message of sustainability and the “Monterey style” of each variety.

“The redesigned District 7 label highlights our commitment to sustainability with the addition of the California Certified Sustainable Winegrowing logo and our 100% Powered by Wind designation,” stated Heidi Scheid, Executive VP of Scheid Family Wines. “These two symbols indicate that both the winery and the vineyards are certified sustainable and that our winery operation is powered by renewable wind energy. As dedicated environmental stewards since the company was founded in 1972, we felt it was important to communicate our core value of sustainability directly to our customers.”
