Chandon California announces its latest innovation today, Chandon Aluminum, a single serving bottle filled with its delicious Sweet Star cuvée specially designed for the on-the-go lifestyle of its consumers. Celebrating 45 years of crafting superior sparkling wine this year, Chandon decided there was no better way to celebrate this milestone than to open up the occasions at which its #ChandonSquad could enjoy their favorite sparkling. This innovation in packaging allows the brand to expand its footprint and awareness, as the aluminum bottle will be available at new on-premise locations around the country where glass bottles could not be sold. Initially launching in New Orleans and Chicago, and rolling out in selected accounts later this year, the aluminum bottles will be available in a specially designed box on Chandon.com.

Complemented by floral notes, Chandon California Sweet Star is a blend of crisp Chardonnay and luscious Pinot Noir, resulting in a semi-sweet sparkling delight. Created by Chandon’s head winemaker Pauline Lhote, Chandon California Sweet Star is refreshingly easy to drink and perfect for the widest range of consumers, including those who have never tried sparkling wine before.

Today, America’s thirst for bubbles is at an all-time high, with 25 million cases of sparkling wine sold per year. Perfect for larger gatherings, Chandon Sweet Star Aluminum 187ml bottles will retail for $195 per case of 24 on Chandon.com.

The aluminum bottle is 100% recyclable.
