According to the Nashville scene, Last year, I told you about George Dickel’s first Bottled in Bond Tennessee Whisky release and described it as “a remarkable bargain, considering the proof premium and compared to the cost of other 13-year-old whiskeys, including other brands that are selling purchased Diageo stock at much higher prices.” Apparently the respected Whisky Advocate agreed with my assessment, naming the spirit its No. 1 whiskey of the year for 2019.
