After years of product testing and development, Braxton Brewing Company is launching into a new category. Cans of Kickback Hard Apple Cider and Kickback Rosé Cider will be available across the company’s distribution network the week of July 23rd. Co-Founder and Brewmaster Richard Dubé has spent years developing the perfect cider, and it’s finally time to release! The brewery is celebrating by creating an Orchard Experience in their taproom with unique food creations, live music, and even a create your own caramel apple bar. Join the Kickback Can Orchard in Covington and Kickback, relax, and enjoy a hard cider!

“Since we have started Braxton, we have always prided ourselves on our ability to create a diverse set of true to style products. The same is true for cider – Richard’s appreciation for hard cider and his vast experience in cider making made the project possible,” said Jake Rouse, Braxton Brewing Company Co-Founder and CEO. “So from day one we knew we wanted to play in the cider category – the question was when and with what product.”

Braxton Brewing Company has been piloting Kickback Hard Apple Cider and Kickback Rosé Cider over the past years as the company worked to gather customer feedback on desired sweetness. The cans will be available in distribution starting the week of July 23rd.

“I am so excited about this project!” said Richard Dubé, Co-Founder, and Brewmaster “We had the idea since starting the brewery, but we were just not ready, nor satisfied with our recipe. Now over the past few years, we’ve nailed it. A real cider with tonnes of fresh cut apples, slightly sweet, finishing mildly tart. A beautiful medley of culinary and bittersweet apples. Refreshing. A great alternative to beer.”

The can release party celebrates all things great about cider. Through partnerships with Holtman’s Donuts, Graeter’s Ice Cream, and ALTO Pizza Kitchen + Bar the company is creating a cider-themed food weekend and transforming the taproom into an apple orchard experience. Hosting bluegrass music throughout the weekend it’s going to be a celebration of the hard work and dedication that went into creating the product.
