Corktown's Batch Brewing Company is taking part in an international collaboration that has a focus on fighting injustices and local philanthropy, along with launching a new beer to raise awareness. 

Made of bourbon barrel, dark chocolate, raspberry, espresso and a 10% dash of alcohol by volume, Batch Brewing Company is ready to launch its version of Black is Beautiful beer July 10. The beer will be released at the 1400 Porter St. location during the Black is Beautiful Backyard BBQ at 5 p.m., in partnership with Brewz Brothaz, a podcast platform on craft beer for the culture.
