Pine State Beverage Co. is the leading beer and wine distributor in the state of Maine. We are committed to servicing our customer's retail and on-premise needs. Pine State's "Malt Beverage Division" was created in 1952 and sold just a handful of items. Over the years the division continued to grow and added a wine division in 1971. In 1974, a beverage warehouse was built on 8 Ellis Ave, Pine State Trading's new home since moving from Maple Street in Augusta in 1966. Pine State's warehouse continued to expand with an addition in Augusta in 1988, a purchase of a warehouse in Bangor in 1990 and another 80,000 sq. ft addition in Augusta in 1998. In 1997, Pine State expanded it's wine business to include the State of New Hampshire.
In 2003, Pine State decided to build a dedicated, 166,000 sq ft, state of the art beverage warehouse in Gardiner, ME and began shipping product from the new location on May 15, 2004. Pine State Beverage now employs over 250 people and between the warehouses in Gardiner and Bangor, Pine State can easily support the wants and needs of all it's customers in Maine and New Hampshire.

Nappi Distributors was established in 1960 but our foundation as southern Maine's leading distributor began years earlier when, in 1933, Giovanni (John) Nappi established one of the many distributorships that opened after Prohibition. It was in that organization that Frank Sr., Nick, and Sam Nappi learned about the beverage business. Martignetti Companies began as a family-owned grocery business in Boston’s North End. Established in 2006, Mariner Beverages has grown to become Maine's largest "independent" wholesale distributor of wine and beer. The company was founded by Tim Wissemann. Prior to starting Mariner, Tim owned and operated a retail beverage store in Portland. He watched the consolidation of other distributors and their product offerings and saw there was an opportunity to bring more diverse wines and beers into Maine for distribution. Since then the company has expanded/relocated three times and has now purchased a temperature controlled warehouse with a large drive-in cooler in the Riverside Industrial Parkway. We now have seven delivery vehicles ranging from a cargo van to a 26-foot straight truck. We offer weekly delivery service from the New Hampshire Border to Mount Desert Island which constitutes a majority of the population of the state of Maine. All of the team is enthusiastic about wine and beer as well as the food that best pairs with it.

Focusing on service and education to our customers that have like interest in delicious drinks. SoPo Wine began in 2005 and is wholly owned by Douglas Watts and Catherine Oster. Doug began his wine career in 1983, working retail while attending L.S.U.. Cat began her career in fine dining in Chicago. Together they have over 40 years experience working on every side of the wine & beer business.
