Description
The commander of the Terradonnà winery, this is the ultimate expression of the territory of Suvereto in a pure cabernet sauvignon. We have produced this wine since 2002, making us known in the world of wine. High quality is obtained with tenacity, and each year it is our greatest challenge.
PRODUCTION METHOD:
Manual selection of the best grapes in the vineyard, soft pressing with wooden press, slow maceration in vitrified cement tanks for 24 days, malolactic fermentation in French oak barrels where it remains for 18 months. Refining in bottles for 30 months
TASTING NOTES:
With an impenetrable ruby red mantle, the bouquet is elegant and powerful, highlighting blackberry and cassis on a background of humus and fern; then there are hints of balsamic resins, coffee and cinnamon. It has remarkable structure with dense density of tannins. The alcohol component fits properly in the progression, contributing a generous flavor. Persistent and elegant finish.

The Terradonnà winery produces in Suvereto (LI) Tuscany quality wines, DOCG, DOC AND IGT Tuscany. Our red, rosé and white wines are characterized by the territory rich in minerals in the subsoil and by the very high presence of clay and silt. The company has been producing wine for 60 years in this area, modern production techniques have been adopted since the 2000s, but we continue to make wine maintaining traditional equipment. In our cellar we use the wooden press and the vinifications take place in concrete tanks like 60 years ago giving the wine distinct stylistic notes that make it recognizable in the Italian and international wine scene.
