VINIFICATION:
The grapes were harvested by hand in mid-February 2020, in 14 kilo containers and delicately transported to the winery for processing. The bunches were gently pressed for 4 hours. The juice extracted at very gentle pressure was deposited for fermentation in stainless steel vats, macerating cold for 3 days, seeking to recover all the freshness, brilliance and tension of the grape. Subsequently, the juice is inoculated with selected yeasts to obtain a fruity and elegant wine. Its fermentation temperature was between 14 and 16 ºC to preserve the aromas of the fruit, removing the lees weekly during the first months after the end of the alcoholic fermentation.

About this company
Viña Kunza was born in 2017, as a wine project in our Atacama Desert, starting with a garden of varieties searching for excellent wines, with strains such as Syrah, Malbec, Grenage, PetitVerdo, PinotNoir and Chardonnay, all of which have adapted extraordinarily, having a vegetative behavior, productivity and quality of its grapes, which have resulted in noble wines of excellent quality. In Viña Kunza, the conditions of calcareous soils, the climate of the Atacama Desert, and its scarce Andean waters are combined, which together with the chosen strains give rise to fine wines, premium wines from Viña Kunza.
