Description

- Sur 34 is a gin with its own style, which fuses the classic of a London Dry but with a markedly contemporary character, reaching, through its meticulous formulation, a complex balance of aromas and flavors.

- Handcrafted and distilled in Colonia del Sacramento, Uruguay, the spirit of Sur 34 is in its unique recipe that stands out for its citric profile thanks to the pink grapefruit, lemon and our flagship botanical: the Uruguayan Criolla Mandarin.

- Our gin inherits the personality of each of the 15 botanicals that compose it.

- We use only natural elements such as fruits, herbs, spices, seeds, flowers and roots, most of which are of organic origin.  Each one contributes its unique characteristic of aroma and flavor through its essential oils, purely obtained after a meticulous process of cold maceration and a careful distillation using the most advanced technology.

Tasting Notes

Aroma: Fresh and strong citrus perfume, with sweet tangerine zest throughout the nose, with hints of fresh pink grapefruit juice and lemon peel.

Mouthfeel: With a predominant citrus character, driven mainly by the flavor of mandarin pulp and lemon zest in the initial taste, before spicy fruits, floral and honey notes appear.

Mid Palate: The mid-palate becomes vibrant with the traditional resinous, piney juniper flavor and light fresh hints of coriander, angelica root musk and an herbal note of rosemary to round it out.

Backtaste : Smooth and long-lasting with a delicate warmth. Cinnamon and anise notes linger on the edges of the palate, with spicy and peppery facets. There is a creamy touch of licorice and lily root that finishes on a woody accord with a slight hint of chocolate and a subtle earthy bitterness.
