VENETIAN HILLS® WINERY

A small family winery in the serene green hills of Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
Grapevines have been cultivated here since Roman times, but the Venetians further developed the vines to make the unique fine wines that are grown here.
Our uncle Mario and his family have been here for ages and he only shared the wine with the community. Since he now wants to improve his bocce ball game in his golden years, we decided to keep the tradition of winemaking and share the secret of his sustainable, luxurious sparkling wine with the world. And the story continues....

Our Land

We are in the NE of Italy, Veneto region, in the province of Treviso.
Our wines are grown in the sunny hills of Maser with a  southern exposure facing the Venetian plain. The denomination is Asolo Prosecco Superiore DOCG.
The vineyard estate is about 700 ft above sea level protected in the north by two sets of mountains before the Dolomites but benefiting from the cool winds at night to assure an optimal temperature gradient for our wines.
Clay-loam with a a mineral-richness is what makes up our soil. This is further enhanced by the cultural richness of our history- architectural jewels, natural beauty, and countless other treasures our area has to offer.

Our Vineyard Philosophy

Going back to traditional basics enriched with innovative techniques...

  • Hand-picked premium selected grapes
  • Biologically-guided pruning
  • Use of plant-based ties for trellising thereby eliminating plastics
  • Sustainable farming -Natural insect pheromones to diminish pests
  • Biodiverse flora (not a monoculture) olive trees, small forest, fruit trees and flowers.
