We are a winery that starts its activity in the land and vines to bring the best of the territory to your glass. Wine has been made in the Priorat long before the Roman times. We continue the tradition of our ancestors. The balance between territory, grapes and microorganisms gives us an excellent product. Les Gritelles brings water, minerals and microorganisms to the ecosystem of Montsant. We handcraft wine, allowing the grapes to express their own yeast.
We are a small winery in the Priorat region in Spain with DO Montsant. We produce Grenache, Carignan and Macabeo wines (between 500 and 4000 bottles per vintage and type of wine (total of approximately 10,000 bottles per year). We would like to explore the distribution of our wines.
We want to show the individuality of the best vineyards and regions of the Northeast of Montsant, in the Priorat region. We select the vineyards that best express the characteristics of the climate and the diversity of the terrain (clay, limestone, slate (rock) and pebbles). We gently orient the grapes towards the wine, trying to express the personality, complexity and singularity of each vineyard and vintage.
