The farm Montenato Griffini is located in Bosnasco, on the lovely hills of the Eastern part of the Oltrepò Pavese. The eleven hectares of vineyard, in a single piece, have always been dedicated to grapevines, and certainly since the nineteenth century, when General Saverio Griffini, a great hero of the Italian Risorgimento, lived and ended his days in the farmhouse that still exists and gives place to the winery production. Right here, in the years just after the Second World War, Bruno Faravelli, who died in 1998, began his activity in the wine-production sector. Today his son Angelo and his wife, Barbara Faravelli Santambrogio, carry on with great enthusiasm this important tradition, directly managing all business processes, both in the countryside and in the cellar, and in the marketing phase. Great trust is placed in the infinite potential of this beautiful land, which is able to express in the quality and aromas of its grapes and wines all the shades of its hills, forests and countryside.
