Carneros Wine Alliance
The Carneros Wine Alliance is an association of wineries and growers in the Carneros AVA (American Viticulture Area).
One of the most rural of wine regions, Carneros (“the Ram” in Spanish ) is known for its natural beauty, its commitment to community and to the preservation of our environment.
If you drive North from San Francisco and the Peninsula, across the Golden Gate or Bay Bridge, East from Marin County, West from the East Bay and South from Sacramento, you will find yourself in Carneros and at the crossroads of two major wine regions, the Napa and Sonoma Valleys.

Mount Veeder Appellation Council
Mount Veeder, in the Napa Valley, is a one-of-a-kind appellation with wine production severely limited by nature. West of Napa and Yountville, Mount Veeder has been producing richly intense, age-worthy wines since the 1860’s.
The wines from Mount Veeder - the mountain by the bay - reflect the independent spirit of its mountain growers and vintners, borne of rugged conditions that demand handcraftsmanship at the highest level.
• The longest growing season and the lowest yields in Napa Valley.
• Virtually all vineyard work is done by hand, due to the rugged conditions and steep slopes.
• Rugged mountain terrain. Extremely steep slopes, above the fog, render shallow topsoil and minimal water retention, resulting in tiny berries, with intense flavor concentration yet soft tannins.
• It is the only hillside appellation in Napa Valley that adjoins the cool, bayside Carneros, benefiting from the cooling influence of San Pablo Bay.
• Mount Veeder is an island of ancient seabed pushed up into a mountain, surrounded by volcanic soils that typify the rest of the Napa Valley.
Oakville Winegrowers
In the very heart of the Napa Valley lies the town of Oakville. Once a steam train stop in the late 1800s, Oakville owes its name to the dense groves of native oak which once blanketed the area. One hundred years later, the Oakville name is synonymous with excellence in winemaking.
A unique combination of soil, topography and climate join together here, creating an environment that makes Oakville a viticultural treasure.
But the proof of Oakville’s status as a world-class grape-growing region is the number of great Napa Valley wineries that have planted their vineyards here. While mother nature has provided the key ingredients, a group of Vintners and Growers who are dedicated to crafting the highest quality of wine from the Oakville soil have emerged.

Rutherford Dust Society
The Rutherford Dust Society was founded in 1994 by growers and vintners in tribute to the legacy of our grape growing and winemaking forebears.
Since the late 19th century, the growers and vintners of Rutherford have played a significant role in the development of Napa Valley as a world-class winegrowing region.
The late, revered winemaker André Tchelistcheff said: "It takes Rutherford dust to grow great Cabernet." What we now fondly refer to as "Rutherford dust" has come to reflect an enduring commitment to quality, a spirit of achievement and a deep connection to Rutherford's soil – as opposed to any sensory component in the appellation's wines.
The Society's mission is to encourage and promote the highest quality standards in grape growing and winemaking in the Rutherford Viticultural Area, and to help wine lovers and the wine trade discover Rutherford's unique expression. Silverado Trail Wineries Association
The Silverado Trail Wineries Association is a group of more than 40 wineries and businesses along the historic Silverado Trail, which runs the tranquil and scenic eastside of the world-famous wine region, Napa Valley.
STWA winery members consist of both large and small producers, all offering wines of the highest caliber and acclaim as well as unsurpassed hospitality.
Other businesses include shopping, lodging, dining and a variety of other services and activities all interested in offering visitors an unforgettable experience.
Stags Leap District Winegrowers
The Stags Leap District Winegrowers is a non-profit association of neighboring vintners and growers whose mission is to work together to grow the reputation of the appellation and its wines and share its quality with the wine loving world.
Committed to educating the wine trade and enthusiasts alike about the appellation's unique conditions of soil, climate and exposure that are reflected in the excellence of its wines, the SDLW aims to increase awareness about the importance of "sense of place" evident in the Stags Leap District.
Comprised of only 2,700 acres, with approximately 1,200 planted, the Stags Leap District is known worldwide for its Cabernet Sauvignon. In fact, the District is comprised of over 80% Cabernet Sauvignon and upwards of 90% with red Bordeaux blending varietals included. Benefiting from cool Pacific breezes, long, dry summer days and unique volcanic soils with overlays of bale loam, the Stags Leap District produces wines critically acclaimed for their power and grace, lush fruit and soft tannins with complex layers of flavor.
