The Deutsches Weininstitut (DWI, or German Wine Institute) is the German wine industry's marketing organization responsible for the generic promotion of the quality and sales of German wine domestically and abroad.

Wines of Germany is the exclusive U.S. office of the Deutsches Weininstitut. Wines of Germany is focused on creating greater awareness and increased sales of German wine in the U.S. through educational and promotional activities. It is the primary information source on German wines for U.S. consumers, members of the wine trade, and the media. The promotional and educational efforts of Wines of Germany, at least initially, will focus primarily on Riesling, the most famous German grape variety.

4) Wines of Chile

Wines of Chile is an organization committed to promoting the quality and image of Chilean wine throughout the world. It has offices in Santiago, London, and New York, as well as representatives in Canada, Brazil, Europe, and Asia. Wines of Chile also works closely with ProChile to develop and offer promotional and educational programs in Asia, Latin America and Europe. Wines of Chile’s 93 member wineries belong to Vinos de Chile and represent 90% of Chile’s bottled wine exports.

5) Wines of Austria

The Austrian Wine Marketing Board (Österreich Wein Marketing GmbH) is based in Vienna and is a national service body for the Austrian wine industry. The organization was founded in 1986 with the aim to strategically support, coordinate and maintain quality and sales. Its main goal for the domestic market is to strive for an increased market share of Quality Wine, along with the export of bottled quality wine, with the particular focus on the continued increase in value.


The AWMB's strategy is to create a balanced mix of marketing activities, that are individually tailored towards their respective markets, including sales support and point of sale materials, image folders, as well as proactive public relations supported by an ongoing advertising campaign (with a special focus on the local characteristics of the wines and their wine-growing regions with the regional wine committees).

The Austrian Wine Institute (ÖWI Handels GmbH) is a 100% subsidiary company of the AWMB and distributes the AWMB point of sale and wine accessories through its premises in Korneuburg, and its webshop www.shop.oewi.at.

6) Wines Of South Africa

Wines of South Africa (WOSA) is a fully inclusive body, representing all South African producers of wine who export their products. WOSA, which was established in its current form in 1999, has over 500 exporters on its database, comprising all the major South African wine exporters. It is constituted as a not-for-profit company (sec21) and is totally independent of any producer or wholesaling company. It is also independent of any government department, although it is recognized by government as an Export Council. 

 

7) New Zealand Wine Growers

New Zealand Winegrowers aims to represent, promote and research the national and international interests of the New Zealand wine industry. Physical address: Level 3, Hamburg Sud House, 52 Symonds Street, Auckland 1010.

New Zealand Winegrowers is the national organization for New Zealand’s grape and wine sector. The organization currently has approximately 1000 grower members and 700 winery members.

New Zealand Winegrowers conducts a wide range of tasks on behalf of the grape and wine sector including advocacy at regional local and international levels; providing a global marketing platform for New Zealand wine; facilitating world-class research on industry priorities; giving the industry timely and strategic information; and organising sector-wide events such as the Bragato Conference and Awards and the Air New Zealand Wine Awards. These activities are developed around the goal of “Building a Great New Zealand Wine Industry”.

New Zealand Winegrowers was established in March 2002 as a joint initiative of the New Zealand Grape Growers Council, representing the interests of New Zealand’s independent grape growers, and the Wine Institute of New Zealand, representing New Zealand wineries. New Zealand Winegrowers is governed by a Board of Directors of 12, comprising 7 representatives from the Wine Institute and 5 representatives from the Grape Growers Council. The parent bodies continue to operate as separate voting colleges and funders of New Zealand Winegrowers, although operational activities are conducted on a combined basis through the united organization.

8) European Wine Council

Formed in 1992, the New York City-based European Wine Council, comprised of trade representatives of eight European wine-producing nations, was established to enhance knowledge and appreciation of European wines in the United States, and to promote a spirit of good will among wine professionals in the U.S. and Europe 

 

9) China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association

 

CADIA was founded on June 22nd, 1992, consisted by wineries and companies concerned. China Alcoholic Drinks Industry Association is a cross-area, cross-department industry association, connecting administration and members, accepting commission from the administration, transmitting the demand of wineries to administration and promoting the development of wine industry. As a national association, CADIA and wine commission which is subordinate to CADIA play more and more important role in the wine industry.

10) The Society of Wine Educators

The Society of Wine Educators was founded in 1977. We are a non-profit educational organization (501c3) whose mission is to advance wine education through professional development and certification.

In many professions, a successful career is marked by an appropriate education verified by a credible certification program that is recognized both by the public and one's peers.

 

11) Wine Market Council

Wine Market Council is a non-profit association of grape growers, wine producers, importers, wholesalers, and other affiliated businesses and organizations. The council’s mission is to establish the widespread acceptance of wine as a rewarding part of American culture and to encourage the responsible enjoyment of wine by current and future generations of adults in the United States.

 

12) Indiana Wineries

At the Indiana wineries, you can sit, relax, and enjoy local wine in a friendly environment. Tasting wine at the Indiana wineries is an enjoyable and educational experience. There are no wrong answers when describing the taste of a wine. Wine preference, like art, lies within the individual. Taste varies from person to person.

Therefore, you do not need to be a wine connoisseur to visit Indiana's family owned wineries. Small wineries are the place to learn about wine appreciation, grape growing, and winemaking. You will discover the pleasure of using your sight, smell, and taste to enjoy wine.

 

13) Hong Kong Sommelier Association

The Hong Kong Sommelier Association was formed in September 1989 by a group of professional wine service personnel. Since the establishment, the Association has organized a series of spectacular wine related events and competitions which were all very well received.

In 1998, the Association has received honorable recognition from Association de la Sommellerie Internationale ASI, and participated in their international sommelier competition in June in Vienna Austria.

 

14) Wines of Croatia

18) Washington State Wines

The Washington State Wine Commission represents every licensed winery and every wine grape grower in Washington State. Guided by an appointed board, the Commission provides a marketing platform to raise positive awareness of the Washington State wine industry and generate greater demand for its wines. Funded almost entirely by the industry - through assessments based on grape and wine sales - the Commission is a state government agency, established by the legislature in 1987.

Wine Institute is an association of 1,000 California wineries and wine-related businesses that initiate and advocate public policy to enhance the environment for the responsible production, consumption, and enjoyment of wine.

The organization contributes to the economic and environmental vitality of California and the U.S. through leadership in sustainable winegrowing, an international marketing program that promotes awareness of and appreciation for California wines throughout the world, and a partnership with Visit California to showcase the state’s diverse and abundant wine and food offerings.

 

20 ) The Wine and Spirits Trade Association

We are the voice of the wine and spirit industry, representing over 340 companies producing, importing and selling wines and spirits. WSTA members range from major retailers, brand owners and wholesalers to fine wine and spirit specialists, logistics and bottling companies.

21) Champagne Association

The Comité Champagne is the trade association that represents the interests of independent Champagne producers (vignerons) and Champagne Houses. Its mandate is to promote the vines and wines of Champagne through a broad remit that includes: economic, technical and environmental development; continuous quality improvement; sector management; marketing and communications; and the promotion and protection of the Champagne AOC across the world.
The Comité Champagne (Comité interprofessional du Vin de Champagne) is the trade organization established by statute to manage the common interests of growers (‘vignerons’) and Champagne Houses (négociants/producers’).
The Comité Champagne is a joint trade association, established as a semi-autonomous public body in 1941.
The Comité Champagne was one of the first-ever regional wine committees created in France, the result of joint action at a local level. It is widely regarded as the model that others have since followed.

The ICE-Italian Trade Promotion Agency is the government organization which promotes the internationalization of the Italian companies, in line with the strategies of the Ministry of Economic Development. ICE provides information, support, and advice to Italian and foreign companies.
