Peerick is a fusion of ancient cultures, spiritual connections, a healthy eco-system and a commitment to sustainability and biodiversity. The name, derived from the Aboriginal word ‘beeric’, a ‘wild cat’, was bestowed on the Pyrenees region by its traditional custodians, the Dja Dja Wurrung. Their beliefs and dreamtime stories, together with the triskele from the O’Hara’s Celtic culture, is depicted on the Peerick wine label. It is a representation of their spiritual connection to the earth, water, sky and its creatures – in essence its terroir. All working in harmony to produce a distinctive range of award-winning wines. Peerick Quick Stats: 9ha vineyard. 30 year old vines. Producing 4,000 cases/annum. Key varieties (in order) - Shiraz, Viognier, Sauvignon Blanc, Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot.
