James, who founded the company, previously worked at Siegel Wine Agencies, Oddbins, Novum, Brown Brothers, Delegates, and Santa Rita. James started Delibo in order to run his own business and put to use the experience he had gained in all aspects of the wine trade. By 2016 he realized that the business was growing to the point at which another pair of hands would enable the business to expand. In September that year, David Wright joined as Sales and Marketing Director. They two had worked together at Siegel in the early nineties.
