Place: we have three unique Cabernet blocks on this vineyard. This wine was chosen from the long rows just east of the homestead, blessed with reddish and almost edible chocolate brown loam. We have blended a very small percentage of Petit Verdot and Mataro from our adjacent Hunt Road vineyard for added perfume and spice.
The inside word: follow that Cab to McLaren Vale. This wine portrays excellent balance between the black fruits, brown earth, mocha and spice, dusty tannins. Decant prior to serving now or cellar 7–10 years. 285 dozen available
