Every year, Mother Nature challenges us to a game of hide & seek ~ The fun begins as we search hither & yon through our medley of vineyards scattered high & low across McLaren Vale’s diverse majesty ~ Our quest ~ to discover that secret place each vintage, where the variety & vineyard environment have conjured something above & beyond expectations ~ Then we respect this prized fruit by allowing it to express itself, pure & natural.
Richard & Malcolm Leask

BRIGHT & VIBRANT
Vineyard: Old Jarvie, Rifle Range Road, McLaren Vale.
Growers: Ian & Ann Leask; Richard & Malcolm Leask.
Place: from the Creek block, which was planted in 1970, and is underlain by red-brown free-draining soil. In 2011, we had a cool vintage, producing a racy & silky style, unique for this part of the Old Jarvie vineyard.
The inside word: the bright red fruits and firm tannins are the key drivers with good alcohol and a medium body. This wine was open-fermented in small batches and matured in three-year-old French Oak barriques for 18 months. It has youthful exuberance now or cellar for 5–8 years. Only 225 dozen produced.

Looking for US Distributor and Importer.
