Spirits of the Americas is a new venture that seeks to celebrate the diversity and innovation of distilling in the Americas by recognizing the very best that’s out there and bringing it to consumers for their enjoyment.

About The Competition

From Canada to Chile, the Americas have a diverse and fascinating culture of distilling using a variety of base materials from grain through agave to sugar cane and beyond. The Americas have always had traditionally strong regional spirits whether it be the rums of the Caribbean, the Tequilas of Mexico or the Bourbons of Kentucky but recent years have seen spirits being produced in the most surprising of places whether it be vodka from Maine and Argentina, gin from San Francisco or absinthe from Philadelphia.

Not only are the places new and different there is a fascinating level of innovation in products themselves whether it be vodka made from single varietal grapes or maple syrup or gins with new and original botanicals.

Spirits of the Americas is a new venture that seeks to celebrate the diversity and innovation of distilling in the Americas by recognizing the very best that’s out there and bringing it to consumers for their enjoyment. This will be done through a competition recognizing excellence and then a consumer event showcasing the breadth of the "Spirits of the Americas".
