Toi Toi is a top 30 New Zealand wine brand and a top 10 Sauvignon Blanc brand in Australia. We are now seeking to expand on our success by appointing additional agents and distributors in the USA and Worldwide.
About Us
Marlborough Wine Ltd (MWL), which produces the Toi Toi brand as it’s lead brand, is a joint family owned winery from New Zealand’s world famous Marlborough winegrowing region. Kevin Joyce and Andrew Bonner, the owners of MWL, create distinctive wines of great quality by sourcing NZ premium grape varieties from the regions in which they are most renowned – only Sauvignon Blanc, Riesling and Pinot Gris from Marlborough, Pinot Noir from Central Otago and Chardonnay and Merlot from Gisborne. Our head winemaker is the very experienced Chris Young, who has had over 20 years experience in producing Marlborough Sauvignon Blanc and Central Otago Pinot Noir. We own quality vineyards in both Marlborough and Central Otago.
Our Brands
All MWL’s brands have an “Inspired by Nature” philosophy. The Toi Toi is New Zealand’s largest flowering native grass – which has become the name of our lead brand. The distinctive plant is ubiquitous in the New Zealand landscape and quintessentially ‘New Zealand’. The brand is trademarked in all major wine markets. We also produce other private label brands as required.
The Business
We are an export led winery, with 85% of our wines exported throughout Australia, Asia and North America. We have sold approximately six million bottles to date in Australia and have built significant brand equity in that market. We seek expressions of interest from additional agents and distributors that are interested in distributing our brands. We can supply stock in the US.

The other key concept of our winemaking philosophy is ‘to over deliver on quality for the required price point’. This we have consistently achieved with our Toi Toi Sauvignon Blanc 2014, awarded 5 stars and rated “Best Buy” wine by NZ’s top Cuisine Magazine.”

Tasting Notes
Our 2014 vintage has benefited from an excellent growing season in Marlborough to produce a wine of great vibrancy and classically true to the region. Delightful hues of pale straw sparkle in the glass and the nose has aromas of citrus, dried herbs with hints of passionfruit and pineapple. An exciting palate with herbal and tropical flavours that has a long clean finish with loads of freshness. Delish!Awards

Tasting Notes
An elegant Pinot Noir that is a vibrant ruby red with purple hues. Ripe red berry fruit aromas waft from the glass with subtle oak and earthy notes. The palate is both full and elegant with firm tannins that support the cherry based flavours. A soft and savoury finish with excellent length and balance.
