Since 1750, wine growing has been a genuine way of life at Château de Berne. The vineyard spans 290 acres of sumptuous countryside niched between garrigue and olive groves in the heart of Provence, France's oldest wine-growing region.

The vineyard is acclaimed for its high-quality rosés and Château de Berne's wines are featured in top guides such as the Guide Hachette, Bettane & Desseauve, and are regular medal winners at such prestigious competitions as the Challenge International du Vin, Vinalies Internationales.

Vines Bursting with Quality

Château de Berne strives to respect nature at every stage of the wine growing process and instigated about 15 years ago, its environmentally-friendly growing techniques, minimizing the use of chemical fertilizers and earning the Agriculture Raisonnée (Sustainable Farming) quality label.

Romance

50% Grenache, 40% Cinsault, 10% Cabernet Sauvignon

Vinification: Total de-stalking. Bleeding and direct pressing.

Color: Pale salmon color.

Palate: Lively and aromatic with overtones of exotic fruits.

Recommendations: Perfect as an aperitif and pairs well with salads and grilled food.

Terres de Berne

60% Cinsault, 40% Grenache

Vinification: Direct pressing, cold setting and fermentation at 18°c

Nose: Very nice rose petal pink, spring flower flavors and summer fruit bouquet.

Palate: Fresh in the mouth with hints of peach and apricot. the palate is rich and well structured.

Recommendations: Ideal as an aperitif. best served with provencal dishes (anchoiade, mozzarella and tomatoes) or with grilled sea bream. pairs well with asian and middle eastern cuisine. best served betweeen 8°c and 10°c.
